I must have your reigistration paperwork (2 pages) on file in order for you to participate. Please use the "Contact" link at the bottom of the page to request registration paperwork and mail it to me.
Classes during the Fall and Spring are held at two locations:
- Bremen, GA at my home. This is a new development. We have moved the Carrollton location in order to cut costs.
- First Assembly Christian School (FACS) in Ashland, AL on Wednesdays.
Class times will be announced once registration is complete. Please see the FAQs for why.
Unfortunately, funding is an issue in this program. To be honest, I would love to not have to charge anything for this program, but music programs do cost a good deal of money. Sheet music, music stands, entrance fees for Festivals and Competitions and sometimes parades, reliable transportation for riding together as a group to performances... It takes a lot of resources to keep any music program running.
Tuition and Fee Amounts: [Please see the "News" page for all Marching Band info.]
- 3-6 year old Rhythm Band (30 minute class weekly): $100 per semester
- 7-9 year old Recorder Band (30 minute class weekly): $100 per semester
- Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Bands (1 hour class weekly): $200 per semester
- New Student Fee: $25 per new student (only in the first semester that the student participates in JUHSB). There is a $50 maximum per semester for each family.
- Late Registration Fee: $25
for late registration IF late registration is accepted. Stipulations
include that the class must have been scheduled because other students
are participating, the student must be at the first class meeting, and
the parent must contact JUHSB before the first class to confirm that
the student will participate (preferably registration paperwork and
payment received before the first class, however, it may be given to
the teacher at the first class though as long as previous contact was
made).
Tuition Installment Schedule:
The tuition amount can be broken up into 4 equal payments, each equaling 25% of your family's tuition cost. Please see the current registration forms for the installment schedule.
*The total maximum family tuition amount will be $600, regardless of the number of children in the program.
Parents of students in the 10 & older Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Bands:
Please note that you will have the added cost of purchasing an instrument in addition to tuition costs. Information on instruments is available in the "Instruments" link.
Fundraisers:
Parents are now responsible for their own fundraisers. Information about various fundraisers that we have done before can be found on our yahoo group, which you are required to become a member of when you register for classes with us.
